Self-Sufficiency With Autumn's Ingredients
Two weeks have passed since the Harvest Festival.
I am harvesting in the field behind my house.
The plants I started planting at the beginning of autumn, such as broad beans, spinach, leaf lettuce, and small turnips, were finally ready to be harvested.

The small turnips easily split when I poked them with my chopsticks. A white steam rose from the middle.
Trying a bite, a fluffy, gentle sweetness seeped out from the inside.
Adding on the viscous savory flavor of the toro mushroom, it brought out the deliciousness reminiscent of ankake stew.
